I am a 37-year-old adult diagnosed with PDA, ADHD and psychotic episodes. I live in Nottinghamshire with my partner Paul and our two cats, Ferdie and Louis. I am a blogger, advocate and public speaker and I also run several Facebook PDA support groups. I’m currently writing a book on PDA with Ruth Fidler, which is due out next year. I’m going to talk to you about how I’m coping with COVID-19 and the lockdown, and how I’m managing to stay positive. For me, life in lockdown is easier but I understand this isn’t the case for everyone.
As well as the support I offer on Facebook and the talks that I give, I also offer telephone and FaceTime consultations to anyone wishing to learn more about PDA from my lived experiences. It’s always been my aim to bridge the gaps in understanding and to help spread awareness.
